Chief Executive Officer
Matt
moved to Orlando in 1986 and shortly thereafter began his
21 year career with Pinkerton & Laws. Mr. Craig worked
his way through the ranks of Estimating, Project Management,
and Division Manager to earn the position of Chief Executive
Officer with the firm in 2008. Through his tenure he has managed
over five million square feet of renovation work, three million
square feet of retail and grocery work, and opened over eighty
(80) Hotel projects. He credits the Company's success to a
simple philosophy, "Tell someone what you plan to do
and then do it beyond their expectations".
Mr. Craig
has served as a contributor to the Hilton Architect's Roundtable
and has been a panelist at several Hilton Owner Orientations.
In addition, he has participated in Cost Analysis, Total Quality
Management and Stormwater protocol with retailers such as
Wal-mart, Albertsons, Kane's Furniture, and K-Mart.
In the
community, he has served and assisted with Habitat For Humanity,
the Downtown Baptist Church Facilities and Building Commissions
and Eagle Rock Ministries. Matt and his family are active
members of First Presbyterian Church of Orlando.
Mr. Craig
is a graduate of the Rinker School of Building Construction
at the University of Florida. In addition, he is a graduate
of the FMI Executive Program for Senior Managers, and the
FMI Succession Strategy and Planning Program. He holds a commercial
General Contractor's License with the State of Florida and
is certified at many levels in Safety, E.E.O.C., TQM, and
Stormwater.
Matt,
his wife of twenty-three (23) years, and his son and daughter
reside in Orlando, Florida.
